Age Co GPS Personal Alarm Product FAQs

Can I wear the Classic GPS Alarm around my neck if I have a pacemaker?

If you have a pacemaker you should not wear the Classic GPS Alarm around your neck. This is because a mobile device should not be placed near a pacemaker. Instead the pendant can be used as a key fob or placed in a pocket or bag. The pendant must be kept at a minimum distance of 25cm / 9.8 inches from your pacemaker at all times. If you have any questions or concerns, we're happy to help. If you have any questions or concerns, call 0800 085 8032, Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, to speak to a Taking Care advisor.

What size is the pendant?

The pendant is 60mm / 2.4 inches tall by 44mm / 1.7 inches wide (at the widest point) and 14mm / 0.5 inches deep. It weighs just 40 grams so it is small and lightweight enough to be carried in a pocket, on a key fob or worn around the neck.

How can loved ones view the GPS location of the pendant?

If you choose to give them access, your loved ones can log on to a secure website to view the current GPS device location and location history.
