What is ActiveAlert?
ActiveAlert goes beyond traditional personal alarm monitoring by helping to proactively manage wellbeing and independence.† Taking Care automatically analyse alarm call usage patterns and if potential concerns are detected, Taking Care will make a proactive wellbeing call to the emergency contacts registered as the alarm user's next of kin.
By analysing patterns of alarm use, Taking Care aim to identify potential signs of concern that might indicate changes in the user's wellbeing, for example an increase in the frequency of alarm calls.
ActiveAlert acts as an early warning system, providing additional reassurance and is included as part of your subscription at no extra cost.
ActiveAlert does not detect health conditions and is a free and supplementary addition for new customers who join the personal alarm service after 1st August 2024, excluding Personal Alarm Watch and Taking Care Sense products.
ActiveAlert is not a replacement for any form of care, complementing professional medical advice and support. Taking Care reserve the right to change, amend or remove any part of this service at any time and without notice.
